Opportunity Verification & Risk Ratings
Every opportunity on Japahub carries a risk rating so you always know what you are looking at before you act. Listings are marked Verified (reviewed and confirmed safe), Regular (not yet verified), Flagged (suspicious or under review), or Reported Scam (a confirmed risk). Where an opportunity is reported multiple times, we display a clear warning. Verification is an ongoing process, and a rating may change as new information emerges. You should always exercise your own judgement in addition to our ratings.
Anti-Trafficking & Anti-Exploitation
We actively work to detect and prevent human trafficking and exploitation on our platform. Trafficking is included in our reporting categories, and we act on credible reports by flagging, removing, or escalating content and accounts. Where we identify a serious risk to a person's safety, we may cooperate with competent authorities and specialist organizations. We publish education and awareness content to help our community recognise the red flags of trafficking and exploitative offers.
Community Safety & Moderation
Communities on Japahub are built for trust. Only verified agencies and organizations can create public or private communities, and each country community is supported by a dedicated Japahub moderator and clear moderation policies. We work to partner with embassies, official migration bodies, and reputable organizations to safeguard the authenticity of information shared in country communities. Verified partners are clearly badged so you can identify trustworthy sources.
Reporting, Flagging & Warnings
You can report any opportunity, message, profile, or community that appears unsafe, misleading, or exploitative, including suspected trafficking. Reports are reviewed by our team, and we may flag, restrict, or remove content and accounts, and display warnings to other users, based on the outcome. Data Protection & Compliance
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means we collect only the data we need, process it lawfully and transparently, honour your data-subject rights, and safeguard any international transfers. Information Security
We apply organizational and technical security measures aligned with recognised standards such as ISO/IEC 27001. You have the right to use Japahub in a space that takes your safety seriously, to report harm, and to control your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. In return, we ask that you use the platform lawfully and respectfully, do not post misleading or exploitative content, and report concerns promptly. Misuse of the platform, including facilitating scams or trafficking, will result in removal and may be reported to the authorities.
